The Second Century

Northeastern State has taken very meaningful steps into its second century.  Our three campuses are transforming daily, as is our role in the region we serve.  Our state and indeed our nation are facing many challenges that directly impact this university. Yet under tremendous leadership and with a clearly defined strategic vision we move forward confidently and creatively to serve our students, employees, and of course, our alumni community.

No doubt, this is a wonderful time to renew or strengthen your relationship with Northeastern State University!

Over the coming months you will hear more from us about the NSU Alumni Association.  Your membership support allows us to expand outreach efforts and enhance our ability to reconnect with former students and friends of the university.  Membership in the Association, however, has meaning only if it is mutually beneficial.

We strive to offer member benefits that have real value.  In fact, we have enhanced the portfolio of benefits to include career services, an online alumni directory and the new “Future RiverHawks” legacy program. These additions combined with the subscription to the alumni magazine Imprints, discount event tickets and other privileges make membership a tremendous value.

Though we offer these products and services to sweeten the deal, hopefully your motivation to join comes more from a sense of pride in and commitment to your alma mater.  Membership in the Alumni Association can pave the way to a more encompassing relationship with Northeastern; a relationship whereby alumni serve as mentors, offer intern opportunities, serve in advisory capacities and support scholarship or capital fundraising efforts.
